How to choose a rice cooker:

Choose the size you need. There are small 4 to 6 cup rice cookers for small families or singles. A larger family, or if you like to entertain regularly, may require a larger 10 to 12 cup rice cooker.
Decide if "brand" is important to you. Some of us get very attached to our kitchen brands. you'll find Cuisinart makes a rice cooker, and Salton as well. Just know that these are not high precision instruments, and a less known brand may suit you just as well.
